Wolves on Banjo

I recorded the “Wolves” chord progression along with the slow bass riff initially posted here, and then recorded a second track (below) with some lead improvised an an acoustic guitar.

The blues scale I was soloing along to is in the key of D, which begins in the following pattern (if you position the “Index” finger row on the 7th fret):

Beginning in the 7th fret, the above shape constitutes the “First Position” for the blues scale. While it is written a few steps down (in Gm), you can see what positions 2-through-5 look like in this chart:
