Suffice it to say, the last two days saw the #IntroGuitar face-to-face class (minus Immy and the Nobodies) present a stunning range of performances that – from the rawest of beginners to the more seasoned of players – provided a challenge to each member of the class, and no small amount of thrills for the audience.
Today we were able to stream the presentations live on 105 the Hive K12 Radio for Learning, and had open online participant Colin Jagoe offering encouragement and listening in to the more complex groups who took to the carpeted stage this morning (yesterday, our “beginner-beginners” opened the two-day gig). See some of the Vine videos I posted this morning, as well as Colin’s comments, here in this Storify.
If you were someone who took video in the last two days (and there were many of you!), please upload and share your recordings as quickly as possible, as I’m sure folks who visit our blog, beyond Colin, would love to see what we were up to. Please be sure to categorize your post as Performance.
A hearty congratulations to everyone who took the opportunity to extend their playing and performance this week! It is a magical thing to behold, and something that bodes well for the next few months. Rest up, and let’s get ready for next week!
