Lachrymose and Weary- Take III

Posted on Updated on

This story goes like this:

  • On February 25, I shared a poem that one of my grade 8 students shared on her blog.
  • Two days later Bryan takes the words, creates a google doc, dresses them up in some chords and records this.
  • A few days after that Nathan, shuffles the words and creates this beautiful melody and records his version.
  • This past Saturday, I went back to google doc, changed some chords and recorded my verse:

Curious to see where we land with this one. I hope to fiddle with it some more.  Maybe if we all keep adding various drafts we can come up with one arrangement we can play and record together for a full piece.
