lachrymose and weary – coming in with version 5

Posted on Updated on

wow!  I’ve been meaning to jump into this class, but the analogue world has just been insane these days.  I love that what’s pulling me back into the digital is this awesome musical collaboration.  I’ve got another song to put up from yesterday as well…. in time….  Ah music – the only thing deep enough and wide enough to hold all these messed-up human experiences.  Thanks Michelle for putting up your poem, and thanks all for sharing!!!

Smiling here. This is wonderful. What is it about the uke? Super!

That was a uke? I have new respect. Really enjoyed this song and will remember your insight about music holding the mess that is life.

Thanks for the listen Cris! The uke is a really wonderful instrument. I really like playing sad songs on the uike because it’s just such a juxtaposition. Like when I play Johnny Cash’s version of Hurt. So good! The best part is it’s nearly small enough to slip in your pocket!

Leslie – you remain the funkiest uke player I know. Word.
