So here I am with my guitar, subtly begging for mercy (YT).

Bond Paul Bond !!
Nice to see you hear, and great choice of song sez me and Viv.
I always think of a 12-string for strumming… gives that big thick sound which is great for accompanying stuff. But plenty of scope to do other things with them too.
Agreed! So clever and effective to use your song to drive home your message. In fact, would make a cool introductory prompt: Play a song that reflects your feelings coming into the course. Mine would be “With a Little Help from My Friends.”
Love that idea! Feel free to drop it in the Assignment suggestion form, Cris (at the bottom of this page here: https://talonsrockband.wordpress.com/assignments/) – or just go ahead and do it: create the category for the assignment et voila, it is so!
Great to meet you, as well, Paul, and what a lovely guitar! I have a twelve string myself, but haven’t explored its potential too much yet (as it lives at my parents’ house – part of my girlfriend’s ‘loan’ program to declutter our guitar-filled abode). Hopefully we can see what these axes can do in the next little while!
Thanks for the intro, and hoping you enjoy #Introguitar!
