Document(ary) of Learning
I’ve been working on the banjo for almost a year now, and have yet to truly move beyond playing it like a guitar. But I think I’m beginning to at least (in my own way) make it start to sound like a banjo.
Here’s a recording I made as well picking out the chords to the Deep Dark Woods’ “All the Money I had is Gone”:

This is a short video on my attempt at changing chords. The sequence, I believe goes from G to E minor, C, D and then back to G. Basically, I change whenever I want to and there’s a couple awkward pauses between the E minor and C chord because I just couldn’t get the hang of it yet! Excuse my horribly out of tune guitar and my poor strumming skills, but I promise to practice and get better 🙂
